INNAUGURATION OF THE NEW SYNAGOGUE IN LÖRRACH
Exactly 70 years after the burning of the Synagogue in Nazi-Germany, a new small but beautiful Synagogue was inaugurated in the border city of Lörrach (near Basel). Prominent guest from the Jewish Organisation in Germany and Switzerland, from politics, and last but not least members of the former Jewish Community of Lörrach were present. Contemplative and reminding words, but also outlook for the future were part of the various speeches. |
